The purpose of Science National Honor Society is to encourage participation in and recognition of scientific and intellectual thought, to advance the students’ knowledge of classical and modern science, to communicate with the scientific community, to aid the civic community with its comprehension of science, and to encourage students to participate in community service and, in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all mankind.  


The Fairfield Christian Academy National Honor Society is dedicated solely to the sciences. The aspiration of this particular chapter is to recognize students for their exceptional dedication to the science field. 


  • Applicants must be a junior or a senior enrolled in Fairfield Christian Academy.

  • Applicants must have an A average (90 or above) in Biology during or prior to their junior year.

  • Applicants must have an A average (90 or above) in Chemistry during or prior to their senior year.          

  • Applicants  must be or have been enrolled in 1 honors science class and passed or are passing with a B average or higher (80 or above).  

  • Applicants must be a student in good standing with no suspensions from school in grades 9 to 12.
