ROLE OF THE FCA SCHOOL BOARD
The FCA School Board fulfills four primary roles:  governors, sponsors, ambassadors and consultants.  As governors, when legally assembled (ie: at designated school board meetings), they are able to debate, vote, draft policies, set goals and plan for the future.  They are sponsors when contributing to the school and soliciting financial support for the school.  They are ambassadors when promoting the school publicly, interpreting the mission, expounding the school’s virtues and defending it when it is under attack.  They are consultants when bringing to the board table their gifts and talents, professional expertise, and their dreams and visions for the school.
