Background Check Policy for Employment
It is the policy of Fairfield Christian Academy for teachers, non-teachers, and all volunteers who have unsupervised direct contact with students, to have a baseline Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation background check at time of employment or service. These background checks must be renewed every 5 years for continued employment or to remain as an unsupervised volunteer. Volunteers who have contact with students but are supervised are not required to have a background check on file; however, they do complete a volunteer application which is reviewed in advance of service.
