Preschool Staff

Lane Bennett comes to us a graduate from Ohio Northern University where she studied music and art. She has been in elementary education since 1992 and has served at Fairfield Christian Academy since the year 2000. During this time Mrs. Bennett taught Kindergarten full-time for twelve consecutive years.   

Rebecca comes to FCA with 3 years childcare experience.  She has a son and daughter in elementary currently attending FCA.
Rebecca serves in the nursery and children's ministry at her church.  Her interests are being with her children, taking pictures and serving in her church.
Favorite Bible Verse:  Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Mrs. Culbertson is a resident of Lancaster with an Associates Degree in Accounting Technology.  Her 3 children attend FCA and her family attends The Tree Church in Lancaster.  She enjoys working in her yard and spending time with her husband and their children.  Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5--Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Ms. Hare is a resident of Canal Winchester currently attending Ohio Christian University for her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  She attends Fairfield Christian Church where she serves in the nursery.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family and takes dance lessons at Leaps of Faith Dance Company.  Her life verse is I Corinthians 13:13-- And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love

Susan attended West Tennessee Business College and Bradford Schools.  She serves in the nursery and in life groups at her church, First Baptist Church in Lancaster.  She enjoys reading, shopping and family outings.  Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.   

Dannelle Ashley graduated from Ohio University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, with a Math concentration.  She taught first grade at Berne Union before taking time off to have 2 children and returned to teaching in 1999. Dannelle has taught in the FCA Elementary since 1999 and assumed the role of Assistant Principal in 2021. She became our Elementary Principal in 2025.

Jen Clark graduated from Lancaster High School and received a Bachelor of Business
Administration with a major in Accounting from Ohio University in 1996. She has taught
preschool at FCA for almost 20 years and has a passion for guiding little ones through her love
of Jesus. She and her husband, Corey, have two children who both went to school from
preschool through graduation at FCA. She volunteers in the kids’ program at The Tree Church
in Lancaster and enjoys traveling, hiking, and listening to Christian music and podcasts. Her life
verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight.

Shirley Tickle is a resident of Baltimore whose children attend FCA.  She is a graduate of Mount Vernon HS, Central Ohio Technical College (RN) and received her BSN from Mount Carmel College of Nursing.  She has experience in emergency, cardiac and surgical nursing.  Mrs. Tickle's hobbies include gardening, hiking, boating and anything outdoors.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family.  She attends Grace Fellowship where she serves in Bible Studies and Mission Trips.  Her life verse is John 15:5--I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
